Biography
Dr. Salah Mohammed works at the Faculty of Law, specializing in civil law. He obtained a PhD in Private Law and a Master’s in Law from Assiut University in the Arab Republic of Egypt. He was promoted to Associate Professor at the University of Bahrain in 2015. He was one of the first to join the Faculty of Law when it was established. During his tenure at the university, he contributed to teaching many legal courses at various academic levels, in addition to teaching at the Royal Police Academy. He also supervised many master’s and doctoral theses for graduate students. He participated in discussing many master’s and doctoral theses, and participated in presenting many specialized workshops in the field of law and rights in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Women, the Supreme Judicial Council, the Institute of Judicial Studies at the Ministry of Justice, and the Legislation and Legal Opinion Authority. He also participated in many scientific seminars and conferences, in cooperation with human rights and legal institutions inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain. He contributes effectively to various academic activities of the university through his chairmanship and membership in many committees at the college and university levels. He also provided many legal consultations to the university administration through his membership in the university’s Legal Advisor’s Office. He has authored many legal books and published many practical researches in the field of law in various refereed scientific journals and periodicals. He holds the chairmanship and membership of the editorial board of more than one refereed scientific journal. He also participated in the arbitration of many scientific researches published in legal periodicals. Since his tenure as Dean of the College, he has contributed to developing the college’s academic programs and courses and creating new programs. All of the college’s programs have received full confidence from the Education and Training Quality Authority. He has contributed and continues to contribute to updating and developing draft regulations and developing systems and policies regulating work at the university.
