PROGRAM LEVEL
The program composes of eight semesters, full-time. It is taught in Arabic, with a few courses taught in English. The program was developed to serve the needs of the labor market in preparing qualified legal graduates who are self-motivated, capable of research and dealing with new technologies, and are equipped with critical thinking skills.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The LLB degree is granted by the college of law to students who complete the required courses according to the academic plan. The plan is arranged to achieve a balance between courses of private law department and public law department. Hence, throughout the period of their study, students will be taking subjects from both departments.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
- Providing graduates with legal knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the legislative and judicial aspects which will qualify them to deal with all aspects of legal issues.
- Â Developing the legal thought and practice of the law students through assigning students to conduct research and studies related to legal sciences, and providing graduates with scientific research skills that would qualify them for postgraduates studies.
-   Providing the Bahraini and Gulf community with qualified legal graduates who are capable of working individually and within a team in accordance with  professional ethics, and contributing positively  to community service.
-  Promoting national values ​​and citizenship and spreading a human rights culture and fundamental freedoms in Bahraini society via enhancing the collaboration link with legislative and judicial institutions.
STUDENT ENROLLMENT
Terms of Admission:
- Applicant should hold a High school Degree or an equivalent degree achieving a minimum overall percentage of 85%
- The High school Degree or its equivalent should not be older than 2 academic years.
- Applicant should pass any test or interview required by the University Council
- Applicant should be medically fit
- Applicant should be of a good conduct.
 GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
In order for the student to graduate from the Bachelor of Laws program, he or she has to:
- successfully pass all the courses required for graduation according to the applicable study plan.
- obtaining a GPA of no less than 2 out of 4.
- obtaining cumulative GPA should not be less than 2 out of 4 (in all of the specialized courses from the 100-level courses to the 400-level courses).
- Completing the program within a period not less than the minimum period for studying the program and not more than the maximum period as stipulated in the University’s Regulations of Study and Examinations.
